LCUUC Voices Project
Stories of the members of Lake Country Unitarian Universalist Church
I spent the first half of 2010 working on this project, which turned out to be a rather large undertaking. Audio/photo segments were constructed from interviews and photo sessions with a collection of fascinating participants who opened up their lives to the project. I drove over a thousand miles to and from interviews and spent countless hours transcribing and editing. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
It would never have worked without the guidance, inspiration and patience of Rev. Jane Esbensen and the wise advice, beautiful photography and precious time of Jeff Blackwell. And of course, each of the participants and their wonderful, funny, poignant stories.
The project is riddled with imperfections but each of them is a priceless lesson learned. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity.
The project as a whole remains private to the members, but the segments below are shared here with their permission.
